Czechia dostarcza Ukrainie amunicję artyleryjską w ramach nowej inicjatywy

Ukrainian Armed Forces receiving new artillery ammunition from Czech Republic

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are awaiting the delivery of a new batch of artillery ammunition from the Czech Republic, as part of the «Czech initiative.» This assistance will include between 50,000 to 100,000 rounds of ammunition per month. Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský made this announcement.

The first news about the «Czech initiative» came in February 2024 from the Czech President himself. The country’s government is preparing to deliver 800,000 artillery shells of calibers 122 mm and 155 mm to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is expected that by the end of this year, Ukraine will receive around 1.5 million pieces of ammunition, providing artillery units with approximately 71,000 rounds per month.
